We hope her brief story of what she’s been up to during this time will inspire you in some ways.

“I have written a couple of short pieces about children and creativity and the world of their imagination. These thoughts are particularly pertinent to now, with children so restricted in what they can do, relying on their inner worlds (as we all are) in a way we haven’t had to perhaps previously.

I work in my studio at the bottom of our garden. During Covid I have been very lucky to have this space to retreat to. As well as painting, I’m a designer – working on architectural and interior design projects – mostly house extensions and renovations. That side of things is a bit quiet at the moment. Good to have the painting time, not so good for the cash flow! “

Alison joins us ONLINE each week on her MAT, practicing yoga with us in the comfort of her own home.  We are so grateful for her openness in sharing her work and her time with us.
